Younis highlighted the significance of the pitch conditions, suggesting that the playing surface in New York favors fast bowlers, which could level the playing field between the two teams.

"My heart leans towards Pakistan, but considering the conditions we've seen so far in this tournament, the pitch in New York seems to suit fast bowlers. This evens the odds a bit purely because of the playing surface," he remarked.

Meanwhile, former cricketer Wasim Akram weighed in, asserting that India appears to have the upper hand, giving them a 60% chance of victory. However, he emphasized the unpredictable nature of T20 cricket, acknowledging that one exceptional performance can swiftly alter the outcome.

"India generally holds the edge as the stronger team. They're the favorites heading into the game. I'd give India a 60% chance and Pakistan 40%," Akram stated, underscoring the dynamic nature of T20 matches.
