BIRMINGHAM – The England and Wales Cricket Board on Wednesday took a significant steps regarding the security of the Pakistan cricket team in the UK.
According to the sources, the England and Wales Cricket Board has provided two additional officers for the security of the Green Shirts players. These additional security officers will be present during the movement of Pakistani players.
The sources said that the England and Wales Cricket Board appointed these two additional security officers at the request of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
It may be mentioned here that in the UK, the fans often surround captain Babar Azam and other players when they leave the hotel, and an unpleasant video of such an incident has also surfaced.
