Brittany Cartwright talks about co-parenting with Jax Taylor amid divorce

Brittany Cartwright shared her and Jax Taylor's expectations for a "healthy" co-parenting relationship as they navigate their divorce.

In an interview with People, the former Vanderpump Rules star praised Jax as a "great dad," emphasizing that their three-year-old son Cruz is their top priority. However, she acknowledged that tensions remain high between them following their split in February and noted that achieving a "healthy" dynamic will "take some time."

Cartwright candidly remarked, "He's a great dad. Great dad, terrible husband. I'm never going to take Cruz away from him."

She reiterated their commitment to prioritizing Cruz, stating, "We will always put him first and work towards a healthy co-parenting relationship."

Despite the ongoing drama, Brittany expressed her confidence in Jax's support, saying, "It's going to take some time. Things are still very raw between us, but for the most part, I know if I needed something, or if Cruz needed something, I could call him and he would be there for us."

After five years of marriage and a six-month separation, Brittany officially filed for divorce from her The Valley co-star on August 27.
